Description
The S8 Aloe Vera Lubricant 50 ml from Stimul8 is a water-based lubricant containing aloe vera leaf juice. It contains no parabens, phthalates, gluten or sulphates, and the formula has undergone allergy testing.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
If you want a water-based formula with aloe vera in a 50 ml size, this brings all three together.
Compatibility
- Skin: It has undergone allergy testing; its ingredients include butylene glycol, propylene glycol and aloe vera leaf juice.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Start with a small amount and add more when you need it; with a condom, apply it to the outside once the condom is on.
- Water-based lubes are absorbed as you go: if you notice it drying out, add a little more or a few drops of water to reactivate it.
- If you have sensitive skin, test a small amount on the inside of your arm first and wait a while before using it on intimate areas.
- A lubricant is not a contraceptive and doesn't protect against sexually transmitted infections.
How it differs
- Stimul8 S8 Cooling Lubricant: Stimul8 S8 Cooling Lubricant has a cooling effect, while this one contains aloe vera leaf juice: choose the Cooling if you want a cooling effect, or this one if you’re interested in aloe vera in the formula.
Our verdict
You get a water-based formula with aloe vera and no parabens; although it has undergone allergy testing, that doesn’t guarantee it’ll suit you if you have a specific allergy.
Before first use, read the manufacturer's instructions that come with the product: they are the reference for its use, cleaning and safety.
