Description
CalExotics Silicone Remote Bullet is a silicone vibrating egg with a remote control and 12 vibration modes. It measures 9 cm in total length, with an insertable length of 9 cm and a diameter of 2.5 cm. The remote has a range of up to 10 m. You’ll need 1 AAA battery, and the product is described as water-resistant.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
You can use the remote to switch between the 12 modes without handling the egg’s controls.
If you’d rather not rely on batteries, bear in mind that this product uses 1 AAA battery.
How to use it and look after it
- Select the vibration modes using the buttons on the remote.
For cleaning, apply a toy-cleaning spray to the stimulator. You can rinse it directly under the tap.
- Wash it before and after each use with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner.
Compatibility
- Lubricant: As it’s made of silicone, the general rule is to use a water-based lubricant; a silicone-based one may damage its surface.
- Water: It’s described as water-resistant, so you can use it in the shower, although no IPX rating is specified.
- Batteries: It uses 1 AAA battery.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Start at the lowest intensity and work up gradually: that way you'll find the rhythm you like sooner.
- If you won't be using it for a while, take the batteries out: this stops them corroding inside.
- A little water-based lube makes insertion easier.
- The first few times, it's best to keep sessions short; increase the time as you feel comfortable.
- Test the remote's range before going out wearing the toy: the signal doesn't travel as far through the body and clothing.
- Keep it clean and dry, away from heat and sunlight, in a fabric pouch or its box and apart from other toys: some materials react when they touch and become stained or misshapen.
- If you share it, wash it between one person and the next, or cover it with a new condom for each person.
How it differs
- Intense Remote Control Sookie Pink Remote Control Egg: CalExotics Silicone Remote Bullet has a total length of 9 cm, compared with the 173 mm total length of Intense Remote Control Sookie Pink Remote Control Egg: the first suits you if you’re looking for a 9 cm size, while the second is for you if you prefer 173 mm.
Our verdict
The remote and its 12 modes give you control options, but you’ll need to factor in 1 AAA battery.
Before first use, read the manufacturer's instructions that come with the product: they are the reference for its use, cleaning and safety.
