The two parts you need
- The control unit, which generates the current: Flick Duo and SensaVox with two channels, and AXIS with multi-control.

Bipolar or unipolar
This is the key difference to understand. A bipolar accessory has both contacts built in, so it works with a single channel. A unipolar one, like the pads, needs another accessory to complete the circuit. If you're just getting started, a bipolar accessory and a two-channel unit are the easiest combo.
