- You already use silicone lubricant, or you don't mind switching to one.
- A standard size works for you, with a nominal width of 56 mm.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You use water-based lubricant or oils. These condoms can only be used with silicone lubricants.
- You need a roomier size. Durex also makes this range in Grande Fit.

Step by step
How to use Durex Total Connection Regular Fit condoms
- Check the expiry date on the wrapper. If the wrapper is damaged, or the condom is sticky or brittle, use another one.
- Open the wrapper carefully, without using your nails or anything sharp.
- Pinch the tip and put the condom on the tip of the erect penis, with the rim facing outwards, before the penis touches the other person.
- Roll it down to the base. If it won't roll down, it may be inside out. Throw it away and use a new one.
- For anal sex, add silicone lubricant to the outside of the condom.
- After ejaculating, hold the condom firmly at the base of the penis and pull out.
After use
Don't clean it, as it's single use. Put it in the bin with its wrapper, never down the toilet.
Manufacturer's warnings
- Use only silicone-based lubricants. Water-based ones can damage the condom, and don't use oils or any other non-silicone lubricant either.
- Some medicines applied to the penis or vagina can damage condoms. If you use any, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- If you feel it slipping off or it feels too tight, stop and check it, as it could break.
- If you use one for oral sex first, put on a new one for any other sex afterwards.
- If you notice discomfort or irritation, stop using it. If it continues or you have an allergic reaction, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
- If it breaks or leaks, speak to a pharmacist or doctor as soon as possible, within the first 72 hours.
- No contraceptive method is 100% effective against pregnancy, HIV or sexually transmitted infections.
- Keep them out of the reach of children, as there is a risk of choking.
