Description
Durex Placer Prolongado condoms are made from natural rubber (latex) and have a nominal width of 56 mm. The pack contains 12 transparent, lubricated condoms, each with an Easy-On anatomical shape and a reservoir.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
If you already know that you use a nominal width of 56 mm, this pack contains 12 condoms.
Don't use them if you or your partner have cracked or inflamed skin.
How to use it and look after it
Wash after using them. If you experience irritation, stop using them and consult a doctor if it doesn't improve. Should either of you notice difficulty breathing or bluish lips while using them, stop using them straight away and call a doctor.
- Contains latex: do not use it if you are allergic to latex.
- Oils and oil-based lubricants damage latex.
- Avoid contact with the eyes.
Compatibility
- Lubricant: They're already lubricated; as a general rule for latex, if you add lubricant, use a water-based or silicone-based one.
- Condoms: Each condom has an Easy-On anatomical shape and a reservoir.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Check the expiry date and keep them away from heat; in a wallet, friction wears them out.
- Open the wrapper with your fingers, never with scissors or your teeth, so you don't tear it.
- Pinch the tip as you put it on so no air is trapped, and roll it all the way down to the base on the erect penis.
- Use a new one every time you have sex and don't wear two at once: friction between them can make them tear.
How it differs
- Durex Invisible XL: Durex Invisible XL contains 10 condoms with a width of 57 mm; this pack contains 12 with a nominal width of 56 mm, so this one suits you if you want more, while Durex Invisible XL is the one for you if you need 57 mm.
- Durex Real Feel: Durex Real Feel is latex-free, while this one is made from natural rubber (latex): Durex Real Feel is the one for you if you're looking for a latex-free option, and this one if you want one made from latex.
Our verdict
The Easy-On anatomical shape and reservoir are plus points if you're looking for that design, but bear in mind that the lubricant may cause rashes, irritation, stinging or itching.
Before first use, read the manufacturer's instructions that come with the product: they are the reference for its use, cleaning and safety.
