Pelvic floor kit: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who this kit is for and who it isn't
It suits you if…
- You want to work your pelvic floor with balls you can add weight to.
- You prefer to start light and build up gradually.
- You want lubricant and cleaner from day one.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You have a diagnosed pelvic floor problem, you are pregnant or you have just given birth: ask your physiotherapist or gynaecologist first.
- You are looking for a vibrator. Take a look at the G-spot kit.
- You need manufacturer data. Intimichic has no working website.

Before you start
- Read the instructions in the box: Intimichic doesn't publish them online, and they take priority.
- Wash the balls before first use.
- Start with the lightest weight and only go up when you can hold it without effort.
- Use a little water-based lubricant to insert them.
- Clean them afterwards: spray, leave for a couple of minutes, rinse and dry.
Warnings
- If you are in pain, have an infection, are pregnant or have recently given birth, talk to a professional first.
- Stop if you feel pain or discomfort.
It is our own advice: we haven't been able to read the instructions in the box.
What the science says
What is known about pelvic floor training
The studies we cite did not test these balls. What has been studied is pelvic floor training, with and without vaginal weights.
Pelvic floor training appears to be effective for stress or mixed incontinence, and the evidence on adding vaginal cones or other extras is limited.
Training with vaginal cones and exercising without them reduced urine leakage equally over 12 months.
Home pelvic floor training devices showed a large positive effect on muscle strength.
