Description
The Romance Inhale Bird Mini by Bad Romance is a suction toy designed to stimulate your clitoris without direct contact. You get 7 pulse functions and a memory function; Bad Romance describes its suction as quiet. It combines silicone and ABS, and you can recharge it via USB using a magnetic connection.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
If you want clitoral stimulation without direct contact and the option to switch between pulse settings with a button, this toy offers both.
This isn’t for you if you’re looking for internal stimulation: it’s designed to stimulate your clitoris from the outside.
Compatibility
- Lubricant: As a general rule for silicone toys, use water-based lubricant: silicone-based lubricant can damage the surface.
- Water: Bad Romance describes it as water-resistant; that description doesn’t guarantee you can use it in the bath.
- Charging: You can recharge it via USB using a magnetic connection.
- Use: Use the button to select one of the 7 pulse functions.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Charge it fully before first use and, if you go a while without using it, give it a charge now and then: the battery holds up better if it isn't left flat for long.
- Start at the lowest intensity: suction is more noticeable than vibration, so it's best to work up gradually.
- Rest the nozzle over the clitoris without pressing: if it's pushed on too hard, you'll feel the suction less.
- A little water-based lube on the rim of the nozzle helps it fit better and makes the contact smoother.
- Clean the nozzle after every use; if it's removable, wash it separately and let it dry before putting it back on.
- Wipe it with a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap, or with a toy cleaner, and dry it well, especially around the buttons and the charging port.
- Keep it clean and dry, away from heat and sunlight, in a fabric pouch or its box and apart from other toys: some materials react when they touch and become stained or misshapen.
How it differs
- Fun Factory LUNA Air Pulse Vibrator: The Bad Romance offers 7 pulse functions, which may be enough if you don’t need more options; the Fun Factory LUNA Air Pulse Vibrator has 11 Air Pulse programmes if you want more to choose from.
Our verdict
The memory function and magnetic charging are plus points; however, the water-resistance description doesn’t specify a protection rating.
Before first use, read the manufacturer's instructions that come with the product: they are the reference for its use, cleaning and safety.
