Description
Think of this as a two‑in‑one paddle: one plush, velvet‑like side to soothe and tease, and the reverse with a firmer face for sharper, stinging spanks. The Scandal paddle is double‑stitched for durability and finished in the brand’s signature red‑and‑black fabric, so it looks as considered as it feels. At 37.5 cm overall it gives a comfortable reach and control from the wrist, while the striking surface is around 9 cm wide — wide enough to land satisfying, targeted blows without being clumsy.
How to use
Hold the handle close to the end for longer swings and more force, or nearer the head for short, controlled taps. Start on the plush side to warm the skin and gauge reaction, then switch to the firm side when you want a sharper sting. Aim for fleshy areas such as the buttocks and thighs and avoid the spine, kidneys and joints. Communicate safe words and signals before play and increase intensity gradually.
Care of the fabric
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap or a toy cleaner formulated for fabrics; avoid soaking the paddle. Wipe gently, then air dry completely before storing. Do not use bleach or harsh solvents, and keep the paddle away from damp or humid storage to preserve the fabric and stitching. A fabric protector spray can be used sparingly, but test on a small area first.
Who this is for: couples or dominants who want a versatile, stylish paddle that covers both teasing and disciplinary roles without committing to a heavy leather implement. Who it is not for: if you need a very heavy, bone‑deep impact for advanced masochistic play, a wooden or thick leather paddle will deliver more force.
For couples or dominants wanting a versatile dual‑sided paddle: soft teasing and firmer spanks in one, easy to control.
Our verdict
The Scandal paddle’s dual‑sided design gives more versatility than many single‑faced paddles, making it well suited to beginners and intermediate players. Its fabric finish offers a gentler aesthetic and controlled impact rather than the deep sting of solid wood or heavy leather.
