The essentials
SKYN Original 10 pack: what you need to know before you buy
Is it for you?
Who the SKYN Original 10 pack is for, and who it isn't for
It suits you if…
- You want latex-free condoms because you or your partner have a latex allergy.
- You want a smooth condom, without dots or ribs.
- A nominal width of 53 mm suits you.
- You prefer condoms that come pre-lubricated.
Better look elsewhere if…
- You need a different size. The SKYN Large is in the same range.
- You prefer a non-lubricated condom. These come with lubricant already applied.
Step by step
How to use the SKYN Original 10 pack
- Check the expiry date and make sure the wrapper isn't torn or flat.
- Open the packet with your fingers. Don't use your teeth, long nails or scissors.
- Pinch the teat end to squeeze out the air and place the condom on the erect penis, before any contact.
- Roll it down to the base. If you put it on inside out, throw it away and use a new one.
- When you finish, hold it at the base and withdraw before the erection goes. Tie a knot in it and throw it away, not down the toilet.
After use
It is single-use: do not wash or reuse it. Keep the box somewhere cool and dry, away from sunlight and heat, and don't carry them in your wallet for long periods.
Our tips
- If you add lubricant, use a water-based or silicone one, never an oil-based one.
- Don't use two condoms at once: the friction between them can make them break.
- Use a new one every time you have sex and when switching from anal to vaginal sex.
- If you notice itching or irritation, stop using them and speak to a healthcare professional.

Questions
SKYN Original 10 pack: frequently asked questions
Does the SKYN Original 10 pack contain latex?
No. They are latex-free, made from a material called SKYNFEEL, and also suitable for people with a latex allergy.
Which lubricant works with the SKYN Original 10 pack?
They come pre-lubricated. If you want to add more, SKYNFEEL is synthetic polyisoprene, and polyisoprene condoms work well with water-based or silicone lubricants. Oil-based ones are not suitable because they weaken the condom.
What size is the SKYN Original 10 pack?
They have a nominal width of 53 mm, which is the measurement you use to choose a size. The manufacturer does not publish the length.
Is the SKYN Original 10 pack as strong as latex condoms?
Yes. They have the strength of a latex condom with the sensitivity of a very thin one.
Does the SKYN Original 10 pack have any texture?
No. They are smooth, straight-shaped and have a teat end. If you want texture, the range includes the SKYN Intense Feel, which has dots.
Can the SKYN Original 10 pack be reused?
No. Each condom is single-use and should be thrown away after every time you have sex.
